I mean this roster is basically completely turned over from last year. Only 4 of the top 10 contributors return. They will get better as the learn to play together. I'm impressed

I know it's only four games, but based on this postgame interview I think if the team shows a little love and belief in him and offers a competitive contract there's no reason why he wouldn't stay.

I really like him. What a refreshing change to have humble grounded guy that's easy to root for.

Interesting postgame comments by Kenny:

He said the Rockets have guys that don't look good unless they're playing hard. They don't have enough talent to take possessions off & have their superior talent level things out. He mentioned House and Tucker by name.

Basically implied what we already know, that James' half ass attitude permeated the team... and said that those guys have gotten back to what got them in the league, which is playing hard on both ends.

One of the great parts of this new team is when we're healthy we have a damn good bench. Boogie, House and Gordon would start for most teams and Brown & Nwaba are really solid role players. It's also great to see that we don't lose our identity when one of the stars goes to the bench. A lot less standing around and a lot more discipline on both sides of the court.

Maybe I'm way off but I don't think that's even remotely possible with this roster unless other teams that should be 7-10 all have injuries.
Funny how this was the prevailing sentiment 9 days ago. I won't lie, I did not expect to rattle off five wins in a row... granted it has been a really favorable schedule, but a lot of these teams like tonight are probably bubble teams as well.

Let's be real, the team is probably not going to win a championship this year, but they are a hell of a lot of fun to watch and I'd rather watch this group of underdogs that plays the game right get bounced in the second round than I would another rerun of dribble dribble dribble step back 3 with the same end result.

For sure, still very up in the air. I wouldn't even enjoy being right all that much, because being right just means we get stomped by the Lakers in 4 games.

Just think that the Grizzlies and Spurs are gonna fall. Maybe even the Blazers. That leaves spots for us and the Warriors.

If nothing else, we found a good centerpiece in Christian Wood. Someone who plays with a chip on his shoulder and wants to be here.

We look like a playoff team to me. A top 3 of Wood, Oladipo, and Wall is pretty strong, and Silas has done a very good job getting the young guys to play defense and with tempo.
