It's all relative. "Washed" to me means useless and he is limited & one-dimensional now, but far from useless especially at that price. I am rooting for the Nets to lose as much as anyone else here and strongly dislike the superteam trend, but this is a low-risk (possobly) good pickup for them.

Griffin can't even dunk anymore. He's an undersized backup 5 who can't defend basically anything, sucks around the basket and can't shoot from the perimeter.
He looked pretty good in the playoffs. Maybe not quite "beyond washed".

Honestly Chris Wallace is a pretty good talent scout, and as long as someone else has final say on draft day, it's a good pickup.

He did a pretty good job breaking down the Memphis Grizzlies and getting them to playoff level. He could never do the moves to advance them from playoff level to championship contender but some of that is also the market. He wasn't exactly recruiting free agents to Miami or LA.

He helped lead the franchise to 7 straight playoff appearances (in the WC) with 3 different coaches and 3 different guys leading the team in win shares.

Heard an interesting trade rumor - Eric Gordon and the #23 pick to Indiana for the #13 overall pick.

Also there was an interesting discussion about a hypothetical trade on the radio yesterday. Basically boiled down to Cleveland sending us Collin Sexton and the #3 pick in exchange for the #2 pick. If I was Stone I would definitely have to think about it. Wonder what his relationship was like with KPJ

It surprised me a little bit too. They may have intentionally left off some of the bad $$$$ we would absorb. EG is a name that keeps coming up in trade rumors and understandably so. He could definitely help a playoff contender if healthy, but doesn't have much use here anymore.

Looking like Green will be the pick. I really like him as a prospect but can't help but think that we will regret not taking Mobley. He is just a total freak show. Upside through the roof.

Green and KPJ will be fun though.
