It's kind of crazy how Tom Schieffer painstakingly ensured the old ballpark would be a fair test for both pitchers and hitters, only to see the franchise blow that up and turn it into a launch pad by installing the club behind homeplate, and now completely miscalculating how this one would play.

There are a lot of things I like about this stadium when attending, but I still think the suites behind home are an atrocity followed by how the park plays. I still hate turf for baseball, but I understand the why behind it

I get why they are there, but the typical stadium look with fans in seats behind home plate just looks so good.

Right. And I'd maintain that if you build in 1st class comfort seats, big legroom, and great service, you could make close to the same $$$ for that square footage with a much more classic look

It's because it is impacting the game. And we started as the shut out was all but done. Most of it was post-game since it was a short game due to a plethora of well hit balls sent to die

I get it, I'm just saying there should be enough action or opportunities at this point for that not to come up yet. Losing 2-0 in our second home game is rough for a variety of on field and off field reasons.

Someone needs to rattle Wyatt's cage. It's simply unacceptable for him to watch meatballs go by for strike 3 the way he does. If he has any designs on actually being a premier player in this league that 94 mph center cut fastball he stared at needs to be buried in the stands. Tired of Spring Training Langford taking 3 months to do something.

Tired of Chris Young's uncreative roster management. Tired of Ray Davis' closed wallet. Tired of that uninspired and hilariously dead ballpark. The whole franchise needs a kick in the ass.

And another thing! This team doesn't draft for **** and has a terrible farm system. All those badass rookies tearing it up across baseball? Won't happen in Texas anytime soon. Freaking unbelievable how they completely pissed away 2023 like it was nothing.
