More OPS/new stadium weirdness. Before 2020, the Rangers hadn't had a sub-.700 OPS since 1988. Each season in the new stadium has been sub-.700 except for 2023 in which it was .790.

Just a perfect storm of a new golden age of pitching, moving into a cave, and roster-building issues.

An interesting video that popped up on my YT feed this AM. I don't necessarily agree with how he determines a five-tool player with a composite score of five factors. I think a five tool player should be above 50 in all five tool categories. Skip to the 16:25 mark to see number 1 from 2025, if you don'twant to watch all of it. It is relevant to this thread and I was surprised.

Click bait title: Number 1 will shock you!!

I know I overreacted last night and I apologize

I'm not surprised by the above video. But it also makes it even more frustrating to see we have the supposed top 5 tool guy and he's struggling this much at the plate. You expect guys like Wyatt to break out of funks quicker than others, it's just not seeming that way right now for whatever reason.

Maybe just chalk it up to being dinged up and having to compensate, and that is messing with his approach at the plate. I don't know.

He looks out of sync at the plate. But who knows. He could probably use a day off, but not today as he is in the lineup against the LHP.

Sorry if already addressed and I missed it. But are you doing a "code" again this year? No worries if not, but we'll be in for a game or two this Summer sometime, thought I'd check in before I look online. Might be a few weeks before I figure out what games will work.

I think we're all frustrated by the fact that it already feels like same sh!z different year.

Only 1 out of the last 9 season have we had a winning record and we went on a miracle run to a World Series Title. Just tough in that winning for us, is not often or sustained.
