Looking good so far. I think I saw one of the beats say his pitch limit would be around 75 pitches today, so he may come back out, but one more inning at the most.

lol Adolis's face cover when it's what 50-something is ridiculous. Makes me think of Leody's hoody in Chicago last year when he couldn't move in the OF. If you can't handle the weather just gtf off the field lol

Agreed. I think the last time we had a sure fire closer, we traded him for an inning of a washed up Cory Kluber. Granted, said closer is facing Federal gambling charges, but it would have been nice to have time the past few years.

Even I'm our Championship season we trotted out Will Smith and never really seemed to find a consistent closer.

We trotted out Will Smith because Ardolis Chapman (an all-star closer) became unreliable.

Which kind of supports the point that spending a lot on a closer doesn't make good financial sense. If your team is bad, an expensive closer doesn't help you. If your team is good, there's still a pretty good chance your expensive closer isn't dominant.
