UConn controlled Illinois for almost the entire game to make their 7th NCAA Tournament National Championship game appearance, and Michigan dominated Arizona from start to finish to make their 8th NCAA Tournament National Championship game appearance.

Purdue dominated them in the first half in the Elite 8 and he just stood on the sideline wondering what was happening. I watch all their games since I live out here and it's sort of like watching Guy V Lewis. They roll the ball out and hope the athletes figure it out.

Almost hard headed about it.
Do they have one of the best front court rosters? Yes.
Do they try and attack the rim a lot? Yes.
But to have almost zero outside game to complement that? Knowing full well there's other teams with great frontcourt players too?
Seems pretty short-sighted if you're serious about going after the biggest trophy.

They beat Florida, Duke, UCONN and beat Houston twice so yes I'd say they're very talented. They humiliated Arkansas. Burries and Bradley are terrific guards but their game is inside out and typically the bigs overwhelmed other teams and they didn't kick out often.
Unrelated side note. I got to watch Peat play in HS. They won 4 straight Arizona state championships. It wasn't fair.

I have absolutely zero rooting interest in this game and the officiating is pretty one sided. Michigan can do absolutely whatever they want on the defensive end.

This game shows the importance of having a rim protector. We desperately need one next year. Fed fed was a bust at being that for us this year.

Still think UConn is maybe 3 baskets from breaking Michigan's will. If this is a 2-point game at the 4 minute timeout, UConn wins.

The average basketball fan likes tons of 3s in these kinds of higher profile games. One team shooting 0fer the first half, and the other doing the same in the 2nd half doesn't help. I was interested in this game due to the clash of styles
