I member my first spring break in college and meeting a bunch of college kids who informed me they are the most hardcore spring break partiers in the nation.
It appears they have extended theirs an extra week. Electric factory indeed.

Bothers me that they, or at least the announcers, are counting this as a tournament win. To me they aren't IN until they win this game. Does it go in the record book as a NCAAT win?
hard to believe SMU hasn't won a tourney game in almost 40yrs with all the dough they've shoved into that program

Yes, it counts as a tournament win and a tournament unit. The unit payout is the key for why the 16 seed conferences actually don't mind playing in these games. It is basically their only hope for getting an extra piece of the pie for a win.
Super pleased that Miami (OH) won this game. I don't care what conference you're in, 31-1 deserves more than a half-ass play-in game for the tournament.

Going conservative and playing for OT isn't wise IMO.

It's amazing the number of coaches that go away from what is working and then wind up losing the game because of it
The biggest culprits of this are offensive coordinators in football

Most of the people at our hotel are wearing Nebraska gear. They traveled well for today's game.

Sure sounds like it on TV. It's like one of those 2 vs. 15 games when the 15 has a legit chance to win and 95% of the crowd gets behind them.
I think the future is going to be that college sports conferences are going to HAVE to pool their revenues because without a NFL redzone or Olympics goldzone or "whip around" show of some kind, there isn't going to be the attention span to sit through commercials. Multiview is fun on the first weekend. But I need more games to start!
So watching a bit of preview and the start of OSU-TCU and clearly the hot announcer thing is to talk about connectedness.
I have 3 TVs and an IPad fired up.
Just got home and it looks like TCU will choke this game away after having a huge lead.

The TCU player took that huge elbow into his face. Almost like a knock-out punch you would see in an MMA fight

That's just absurd that ends up being a foul on the guy who got elbowed. He wasn't violating the offensive player's cylinder.
