On the Houston ch13 radar, the storm around Somerville appears to be dying out without lightning.
The more potent storm is moving toward Navasota and taking the lightning that direction.

Fellow retiree here. The delay is easier when you don't have to set a Monday morning alarm. My husband gets up early, no matter what, so the dog will still get breakfast.
