Agreed.

That said, he does have one complete movie in the can - a drama for Apple called Emancipation, in which he plays a slave, that was definitely meant as Oscar bate. And it sounds like Apple might potentially hold it until 2023 now, until this whole thing has cooled off a bit. If so, technically, when voting commences in early 2024, for the 2023 films, maybe he's rehabbed his image enough by then that he *could* technically receive votes and be nominated. Granted, a lot would have to go his way between now and then, but who knows.

It got mentioned earlier, but I'd bet there's definitely some fear of what she'll do to damage him if he asks for a divorce. And that's beyond the notions of people leaving abusive relationships.

Good God what a *****. As much **** as Will gets for other guys railing her, I'd say, "**** it," and let then have her. Permanently.

ETA Not only did she put him down, she brought him down. For him to say, "She was right," is just the ultimate in victim self-shaming. He didn't do anything wrong, and she's just emotionally abusing the **** out of him until he blames himself for her failure to be even a decent person.

Honestly who knows who is the worst. They're both actors who put everything aspect of their lives on public display in a very curated manner. It could all be some kind of pr facade. I wouldn't believe anything about these people ever because they're both quite full of it.

After all of what? You're not seeing into these people's lives. You're seeing videos they want released. Am I surprised there are a bunch of videos that make will look more sympathetic after lthe slap? No because I am sure he has a great publicist do you guys really think these things just happen to reappear?

I don't think anything about them is normal but that doesn't mean I have to believe anything about them isn't an image that they are orchastrating because they believe it benefits them.

If any of you actually know the family and see them through something other than intentionally released footage then I take it all back.

Fair enough…I took your comment as you saying the initial Oscars slap was staged (as well as everything since). I can see a lot of what's been pushed since as a publicists game, Youbet is right in that it's a little weird if they decided to crucify Jada to reset his victim status. Based on what we assume about her, I'm not sure she'd willingly go for that.
