Yes I've seen it…his my struggle to believe there's a rifle barrel down his leg…I very well could be wrong…I'm just struggling to understand why he can bend his knee that much…
I'm right there with you. I just tried with one of my rifles and it was very difficult to walk and couldn't even get up the stairs.
I am wondering if he somehow rigged backpack up as a carrying case. Most of it is possibly in backpack but some portion of barrel is extending down pants possibly into pant leg, with backpack obscuring it?

Zero chance the rifle was in those pants. It was planted on the roof previously.

I don't think we know for sure, honestly…
Maybe the 830 presser will shed more light on what we are seeing…
I'm still not sure we aren't dealing with multiple people at this point…I doubt we are personally, but I'm not sure…
And I just can't seem to see a rifle in those pants…

So we have video of him walking prior to the shooting, supposedly headed to the campus. How did he get to that neighborhood? Where did he start walking? He either got out of a vehicle parked far away from campus or he emerged from one of the houses near that neighborhood

I think there are multiple people and some dressed the same. As for the private jet, I'm not thinking that is related. They likely discovered an issue with the transponder and headed back for maintenance.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were 4 or so people involved. Gun left on roof overnight. Gunman fires and tears down the rifle. Hands parts off to others. Others, wearing the same kind of clothes take their respective parts and dump them.
I dont believe for one second the gun they found is the gun that was used. This is way too high profile to just dump a gun in the woods.

My takeaway was that it's just another example of the infatuation and romanticization of these events.
If he had the rifle down his pants there'd likely be dna on it even if he tried to wipe it. Somewhere his ungloved hands touched that stairwell rail so there'd be possible fingerprints and dna even though that's less certain with others touching the rail.
Other possibility is he didn't think the rifle would be found so quick and may not have wiped it. Maybe was planning to come back for it.

So a guy makes a high profile and very public shot. Takes every precaution to get into position undetected with a rifle. And then puts his bare hands on everything?? There are enough movies, tv shows, and podcasts to know that leaving a trace is a big no no. If thats really "the guy" he sure is leaving a ton of trade evidence. So much that law enforcement should know everything about him by now.
