Shasta and Ashland had to close today due to the rain in this warm storm we are getting with the already low snow. We need a miracle storm bad.

Soooo glad I didn't get a season pass. No end in sight at this point.

Yeah. Probably a good call. Shasta does have that days open guarantee at least.
We went last Sunday and it was as crowded as I've ever seen it.
This next storm might be enough for them to open for a couple days until it melts off again.

not much of a guarantee...
"Pass Protection Program
We guarantee a 60-day ski season. For each day short of 60 days, we will offer 1.67% per day rollover credit to be used in the following ski season.
This will protect you if we are not able to maintain 60 operational days for our 24/25 season".
That may be better than the industry, but I don't even know if I'll be in the area next year.
They only charge $50 for a day pass for veterans, a great perk. But it also makes my break even point is 8+ days if I get a pass when they're the cheapest. No veterans discount on a season pass.
Bunny Flats is looking pretty good though. But I'm a late season (low avalanche probability) back-country skier. Not enough experience yet.
