I hear you, truly, and I believe he does need more days off, but this is all Slots fault though. We don't have a bad player issue. We have a coach who's waaaaaay over his skis with this group of guys at this club. He brought in players he has absolutely no idea how to use.

There is no system in the world that can make Mo look good right now.

Fair, but is he the one giving up 21 goals through the beginning of the season? We are an atrocity in midfield right now giving the ball away at will. I do think we press like **** which hurts us, but teams have adjusted to our double pivot and have is completely overrun in midfield leading to turnovers galore and no offense.

It's been a long time since LFC have been my most disappointing team. Thank goodness the Ags are good.

My view is that our midfield gets pulled out of shape because Mo doesn't track anything and while also giving the ball away constantly. They have to cover wide leaving too much space in the center of the pitch.

I agree that Slot has this tactically wrong, but that wrong tactic is playing Mo and giving him too much freedom.

I never thought it would get this bad, but I did have some questions about his ability to adjust with this team. Coming from a small league he had no choice but to only tweak what Klopp did here. Then he gets backed and gets players in and all has gone to *****

Slot is 100% getting fired before the end of November.

It's just stunning how far we are off. Not only from winning the PL to fighting for the top 10, but that we are so off of it in every aspect of play. We look like jv vs varsity against Brentford.

Because of college football after our game yesterday I didn't really see much of Slot's post game analysis and what, but this morning I went back and listened go some of it…..and YIKES.

He said that teams have adjusted to how we play and are doing specific things against us and that they have not figured it out quite yet.

Slot buddy….teams are playing two guys up front basically between our CBs and midfielders, then two more behind them as sort of a box, pressing the hell outta the back line and then launching long balls and set pieces. That's it. We have crazy issues if you can't figure that out or at least try something to figure it out.

Also, I love the EPL and think it's without a doubt the best league in the world, but more than ever I think it's becoming a set piece league. Its always been a league of men and physicality, but I think we're getting to a tipping point where games are harder to watch because it's set piece after set piece and multiple goals per game from corners, long throws, etc.

As evidenced by both of these goals in the Everton and Tottenham game.

No doubt. And there has been a lot of discussion about that from the likes of Goldbridge and others on how the PL style of soccer has just become boring set piece/slugfests, especially compared to the more open style of the Bundesliga.

David Lynch had a good video on how the PL has changed just in the last couple years to the style of Arsenal, Brentford and others. Big, physical and duel winning attributes with direct and deep over the top attacking to get long throw ins and set pieces. And that Liverpool isn't built for it and the "awesome" summer window actually made it worse for the most part along with the horrible fits, etc. Throw in Salah, VVD, Konate, and Mac falling off a cliff along with Slot being exposed and having no clue, and here we are.

He said he wouldn't even get Gueihi, as although he is awesome player and great going forward (doesn't work now/and not what we need) he is only 6 ft. The numbers on our guys losing aerial duels and all duels is horrific. Only VVD wins more than losing.

Anyways, life comes at you fast....but fortunately we have it going the other way with Elko and the Aggies!

Liverpool have Palace, Villa and Madrid all at home, then City away over the next thirteen days. If Slot lose three of those is here employed after that?

Looks like most of the first team has the night off. Hopefully Kerkez has a confidence boosting game, Robbo keeps the intensity of the team high, and Gomez stays injury free.

Well, the pressure is now squarely on this weekend. Slot basically threw this game by resting every starter he could. If they don't come out and win Saturday it's going to get UGLY.

Slot is already getting some insane heat for the squad and bench he threw out there today lol.

He should. Straight give up game and punt of a domestic cup with that lineup. 6 out of 7 losses and fans were leaving in the 70th minutes. The next 3 games are everything now. He has to get results now.

And his post match press conference....my gosh man, keep your mouth shut. It is simply amazing how fast he went from winning the PL and revered to a laughingstock this year. I mean it is really unbelievable.

Is some of this just a reversion to the mean? I think Slot overachieved last year and while it all seems to have come at once, some of this is just more towards original expectation levels at the beginning of last year?
