That was a really weird game. Lots of odd injuries and sloppy play by both sides. If not for Woodman's heroics, we could have easily drawn that game. I feel a bit lucky to get all 3 even though we clearly dominated large stretches of that match.

8pt lead for CL qualification, but 4 very difficult games left.

The EPL is in such a weird spot and today's Bayern - PSG game revealed all.

Things can be multi-faceted imo. One, the talent at Bayern, PSG, Barca, and Madrid has really taken a step up, and those teams are crazy, crazy deep, and they have surpassed a lot of the top EPL teams imo from purely a talent perspective.

Two, the styles of play between Ligue 1 and Bundesliga compared to the EPL is so drastic it'll make your head spin.

Three, today's Bayern - PSG game also tells me just how talented the EPL is from team to team and on an individual level. The level of defending and individual athleticism from teams like Brentford or Fulham is so far ahead of what other mid tier teams in others leagues is, and most of that is the money involved in the EPL now. Aka the top and bottom of the league has been squeezed together.
