This was kinda forced upon me when I tried taking my daughter to the theater to see Angry Birds 2. Didn't realized I signed up for this extra 10 minutes before the actual movie started.

Neither of us thought it was fantastic...

Maybe you don't get what I'm saying? Have you ever had to keep a kindergartner still for an extra 10 minutes trying to explain why the movie she asked for isn't playing?

I think his point was, fig mentioned it because a good friend of his co-directed it. So its probably rude to immediately mention you thought the opposite of it, even if it's how you feel.

I didn't know about Taika before What we do in teh shadows, but that film was so hliarious. Between that and what he did with the Thor movies, I'm glad he was able to get recognition.
