Watched it during the shutdown in 2020. Can't wait to see more. Their son has aged from 14 to about 35 since the end of the last season.

Yes, but in two parts. Part One - the first seven episodes - tomorrow. And then Part Two - the final seven episodes - at some this spring (sounds like May-ish).

Can someone explain the foundation/politics angle? I'm 3 episodes in and it just seems so over the top and unnecessary.

Those 7 episodes didn't disappoint - watched them all last night. Might be the best "season" of the series IMO. The only caveat is that Wendy has become insufferable.
