In hindsight, I wish we would have been giving HB's minutes to Sochan during this drought HB has been on. No way to know he would be down this long.

Sochan + Kornet was -21.1 net (no Wemby)
Sochan + Wemby was -7.1 net (no Kornet)


But the on off split for Sochan this year is -11.4 total.

Barnes+Wemby was +8.8
Barnes+Kornet was +6.7

Barnes total on off is -1.3. the offense is a lot better with him in, but the defense really suffers with him in and is better with him out.

Even with Barnes cold the last two dozen games, he contributed more than Jeremy. Jeremy was just so limited that he brushed out offense

Jeremy's net on off was -11.4. Bryant's is -3.4. Barnes is -1.3. it's not perfect accounting, but it does adequately demonstrate that Sochan didn't work with Vic or Luke and he was only really useful as a small ball center instead of Bismack.

hey the other day you said that Matt Nielsen and Mike Noyes were in charge of the replays. Where did you see that?

When Castle stole the ball and asked for a replay saying Houston tipped it out, it looked like Noyes was the 2nd row coach that turned it down, but Matt Nielsen was in the front row, not second row with a screen.

Just wondering. Whoever does it sucks balls.

I saw a bit of it early season. When I went to the New Orleans game and sat by the Spurs bench, spent some time just watching how the coaches operate. It was those two sitting with iPads. They'd look at the play. Then would give a thumbs up thumbs down. If they didn't both agree then no challenge. Mitch would look to them to see whether he needed to challenge.

And agreed they suck at it. In my observation, Noyes is uber conservative. When I've caught it during games, seen several times where Nielsen was thumbs up and Noyes thumbs down. They need to take his iPad and give it to someone else.

Corliss was working with Keldon and Bryant pregame when we went. Talked to him a bit, he was having a blast working with the team. Good dude.

Corliss was working with Keldon and Bryant pregame when we went. Talked to him a bit, he was having a blast working with the team. Good dude.

Yeah, I think Corliss has been a good pickup. He's the kind of guy we need. Championship experience, worked hard all the time, brought the big nasty. I wasn't sure about him as a coach because he hasn't seemed to progress much, but he seems like a really good hire.
