Nets got 30% more FTA in this game than we did last night. They also didn't score over 20 points in any quarter.

Is Mitch (and PATFO by extension) treating this year as a training/learning year or are they trying to just win the effing thing?
Just wondering. If they haven't shifted to just seeing how far this team can go, I think they fans will be severely disappointed.
Some of the coaching moves seem more indicative of teaching/learning than pushing out hard on the Ws. It's crazy to think that we're on pace for 55+ wins. I think its time to go win the effing thing.

Like you said, we are on pace for >55 wins and we were predicted to win 42-44 and struggle for the play-in. So I think it is both a learning and performing year.
I said before the year this would likely be similar to OKC's 2024 season when they won a lot of games then lost in the 2nd round to the Mavs.
The sooner we can get guys like Harper, Castle, and Bryant to develop the better. So let them make mistakes.

People complain about our use of challenges, but Utah just used one to take off a foul on Collier, but even though it was successful, the Spurs keep the ball.
That seems like the dumbest way to use it. We weren't shooting FTs. Just a foul on the court where even though they won, they don't get the ball or change the score or anything.

We won those minutes. I think because Castle+Harper is not working at all so they are trying other guys to put with Harper. Lindy is shooting like **** and McLovin it at 39% on the year.
We need Devin back. Then we can just do Harper, Devin, Julian, Keldon, Kornet as the bench group.

He's definitely getting better on the defensive end. Still has some rookie tenancies like forgetting about the back cut, or ball watching and losing his man.
On the flip side, he gets to the rim better than Castle and Fox.

He's turning a corner. Offense and defense are starting to click. I hope he comes back from the break and goes on a tear.

Knicks kind of imploding. They are 3-9 since we beat them on NYE and the Blazers are the best win in that time.
I'm not really interested in Yabu or anyone else on their team but fun to see them fail after burning all their assets to put this team together
Just watched the Utah game. The last 5 minutes of offensive execution in the game vs the Rockets was NIGHT AND DAY.
It turns out that running screen actions and dribble handoffs with Wemby and Fox leads to way better shots than iso ball. I dont know if Mitch got his head out... or if the Rockets defense was forcing us into a bad game plan.
The last two losses have both been the result of blowing big leads and running hero offense down the stretch. I love that our guys want to make the big shot but they need to understand how to get to that better. They seem to in some games but not others.
