FYI - for delivery, the delivery boy arrives at 7 AM and the min order is $12 worth of fare plus a $2 delivery charge plus a tip (*snicker*) of your discretion.

I "enjoyed" donuts & bacon/egg/cheese kolaches from Krispy Kreme this morning.
I shall not be recommending it for any Wednesday morning gatherings.

but how where the bathrooms?
Tp was plentiful. A plethora even. not many roaches. running water and a door that locked. it passes.
And to review the actual tacos:
Chilaquiles - great taco. Generous portion and sizable tortilla. Good quality tortilla, soft and fluffy, and thick enough that it didn't tear under pressure. Red and green salsas tasted good.
Potato & egg - Las Chiladas had better potatoes than Jalapenos does, although the portions were generous yet again.
Overall, one of the better taco joints in town. The fact that they deliver makes me more of a fan.
I have a bean & cheese and a carne guisada taco waiting for me, so I'll have to revisit my review after I taste them out.

Huevos rancheros just okay. Kinda bland and I like my beans a little thicker.
I give it a b+ for the chorizo, and I second the good tortillas.

Bean & cheese - wish Obi Wan would've joined us so we could get an expert bean & chez opinion, but I'll provide my thoughts. Stout bean & cheese effort. Good-sized taco, great tortilla, generous ingredients although if I were making it myself I would've added a little more cheese. Not quite as good as the original donut shop's bean & cheese, but that's only because the original donut shop toasts their bean & cheese tacos. This taco toasted would've possibly edged out the donut's bean & cheese.
Carne guisada - good-sized chunks of meat and none too fatty. A great guisada taco in my opinion. A good amount of spice, although not as flavorful as Aguascalientes guisada.
Overall, Jalapenos is a great taco joint with generous portions, nice affordability, and above-average flavor and quality. AAM-approved taco joint.
