Reggie's Weekend Special @ Taco Haven

Came with 2 eggs with ranchero sauce, barbacoa, refried beans, potato, and 2 corn tortilla quesadillas. Tortillas were excellent - fluffy and thick. Potato was great - had onion, tomato and peppers cooked in. Barbacoa was pretty good - not too fatty (my preference is leaner). Corn tortilla quesadillas were crisp and the cheese was good quality. Green salsa had good flavor although I prefer my salsa hotter. Food Network's #1 breakfast plate in Texas went down around 930a and I'm still full this afternoon (I made 5 tacos out of the plate, all stuffed generously ... 3 were knocked out this morning and 2 for lunch a couple hours ago). Overall a great value and solid breakfast spot.

Ate at Comal County Tacos today around lunchtime and that place is legit. I had bean & cheese & rice and one was plenty. My dad had a chicken fajita and said the power of the jalapenos mixed with the chicken required no extra salsa. Homemade corn and flour tortillas were being cooked on the comal behind the counter as we ordered. They have about 20 warmer trays with various fillings in them and you can just build your own taco. If you're ever passing by, I suggest stopping. It's an orange plywood building off highway 46 a mile or so east of the 281 intersection. $1.25 for a ginormous taco custom-made to your liking.
