Taqueria El rodeo jalisco has great corn tortillas, not so thin that they break easily but not too thick, as far as the actual insides go i havent found the best

I've got the fam in town and need a recommendation for legit breakfast tacos near the Riverwalk or on the way to Houston from there. If you know Houston tacos, I'm a Brothers customer 2-3 times a week. That's my jam, so I'm looking for something in the same tier.

Comal county tacos on Hwy 46 or GTFO...about 3 miles east of 281....hole in the wall. About 20 different types of tacos on the serving counter ready to go...fast service...Top shelf Taco $2.25. Huevos ala Mexicana with Cheese and bacon is my favorite! Get ya some!

Comal County tacos es muy bueno. There is a similar (really a copy that some former CC tacos employees probably opened) place that is not as far. It's in the shopping center at the FM 1863 exit ramp on the northbound side.

Can't remember the name but it's pretty good too

Lazarita's off WW White just south of I-10 has some good tacos... Ask for the Steak Al La Americana (Doubt that is the correct spelling)

Tortilla is everything. Can't just roll out your ingredients on any old slab of dough all la di da.

If you can't make a meal out of just that tortilla alone, you have a subpar tortilla and anything made with it will be....lacking.

Good tortillas are life.

After the tortilla is the salsa. I've been to plenty of places with really crappy salsa that ruined the taco.

A new place that I have really been enjoying is called Con Huevos Tacos on E. Houston next to Dignowity Meats. It's not really a dine in type place.

Support your local Taco shops now or they wont be there when this **** is over. You don't have to call to order, you can walk in and order then carry out.

They don't have the staying power of the larger chains.
