This game highlighted the glaring need for secondary scoring. Second line can't produce anything but neutral zone turnovers
Still better than the 4-9 ass kicking my team took tonight.

I share this opinion. Normal game action is fine but when there's a big moment, e.g. goal scored, he does sound a bit odd and kinda 'muppet-like'. (in no way a personal attack, just an observation)
I wouldn't say we were necessarily brought down to earth. Stars played a bit sloppy but the effort and intensity was there.
Without being on the penalty kill 3 consecutive times in a matter of minutes was definitely an outlier which happened to come against a great team.
I just hope that this was just an unfortunate series of events and not a result we will see often considering the new aggressive style of play under Monty.
Still really excited for the season, anyone trying to go to the away games in Vegas this season??

Was really looking forward to some Stars hockey tonight but UVerse is down across Dallas! Guess I'll have to listen to it on the radio like a neanderthal!

Hi everyone, I looked through the thread and didn't see anything about around the AAC. but I'm looking at going to the Stars game vs the Wild tomorrow. This will be my first Stars game. What is there to do around the AAC and where should I park? We're planning on getting down there around 4:30-5.

I always park underneath Woodall Rogers near Dicks Last Resort. You pay through the Park Mobile app and it's about 5-7 dollars depending on how long you'll be there.
For food, me and my buddy always stop at La Ventana if it's nice for tacos and margs.
The Gametime app sometimes has good deals with insane fees.

Thank you! This is very useful. I'm really excited. Grew up in a city that didn't have any hockey teams so it'll be good to go to a game instead of sitting at home watching.

One note on parking. It's about a 5-7 minute walk so if it's raining you may want to park closer to the AAC where it's $15-20

While that is a good idea, parking at Happiest Hour and enjoying the scene there before and after the game is not a bad idea either. It's also a short walk to the AAC.
