I think the way the Stars are playing now - quick countering, solid around the net, Bishop as a feckin wall - encourages me. That said, the Blues aren't going 0-fer on PP in a 6 game series. I expect a lot of close games, some more great goaltending, and a 6-7 game series.

I love that the boys got a day off before getting right into a new series. No time for rust to set in. In hockey, long breaks ( 3 or more days) throws people off.

I can see us taking game 1 and controlling most of the game.

If you are looking for dream matchups the rest of the way, you should be rooting for San Jose over Colorado. Of the teams Dallas matched up poorly against in the West--Nashville, Vegas, Colorado--two are already gone. Dallas is in a unique position to where each round might be a better matchup than the series before it.

Dallas probably matches up better against SJ, but would have home ice against Colorado. Gotta handle St. Louis first and worry about who we get when we get them. Hopefully the captain who usually plays like Playoff Jaime in the regular season against St. Louis will go full on Beast Mode Benn against them in the playoffs

Watched both videos and will share these thoughts...

1) I love Monty's attitude and demeanor. Very positive guy.
2) Stars could have won that series in 4 or 5 - they were the better team.
3) I got chills watching the footage (crowd shots and all) of Klingberg's series-winning goal.

Any way to stream KRLD 1080 since the Ticket is keeping their draft coverage on the ticket. Would rather listen to Razor as opposed to whoever NBC Spirts runs out there
