Hell of a game! We were the much better team except for a 8 minute stretch in the third. But that was when we backed off big time. Should be a good game on Monday which I expect we should win.
I know we can't overlook the possibility of the predators winning 2 in a row, but root for the jets tonight. It will help against no matter which opponent we get, if we can just get 1 more win.
Can someone summarize the Stars gameplay? I had to miss the game today and only saw the score twice when it was 1-1 and then 5-3 in the 3rd. Did we dominate, score first, get behind and come back or what was the overall gameplay and attitude like? Did Nashville look freaked out that we won? I'll look at highlights later tonight but wanted to ask.
But boy am I glad that I got a Game 6 ticket now. It's going to be crazy crazy CRAZY Monday night!
Nashville got the first goal but the Stars really kicked their ass the rest of the game. They got another fluke goal off of a skate but there was really no doubt after we went up 3-1.
Yeah, Danny got it right. I'd just add that the Benn/Seguin/Radulov line accounted for 7 points - Nashville had no answer for them.
You know, Benn got alot of grief earlier in the season but you can really see what a great captain he is. His mean streak his so much fun to watch.

Just finished watching the game. Similar to game one, even down 0-1 I felt really good. Stars dominated. Benn, Seguin, Radulov could have scored every shift in the first.

Kind of an unfortunate part of trying to get tickets to any major event. NHL is in control of this event and the tickets and they didn't dream of this type of demand.
Original capacity was supposed to be ~65k, but it's nearing 80k tickets sold already. NHL may not have been well prepared for a scenario where Stars and Preds fans came in this strong to buy tickets.
My advice: Get tickets right at 10AM on the 23rd when the NHL releases their last 3-4k tickets or hold off until right before the game. Lots of speculators buying tickets to try and make money. Many aren't pros and will get nervous about losing money. So the market will likely dip close to the event. The NHL will likely also slowly release tickets out over time when their partners don't take them. So check constantly if it's an important event for you.
