Picking up the game tomorrow morning at Best Buy. I wish they still did 11pm openings for the big Switch games. I did the midnight launch for the Switch / Breath of the Wild, and the 11pm openings for Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Pokmon Sword/Shield.

This IGN review I'm watching says the underground area map is actually larger than surface-level Hyrule? TF. Didn't expect that kind of scale.
Skill Ups review compared ToTK's map to Elden Ring with how massive and dense it is. Much more to find/do compared to Breath of the Wild it sounds like.Head Ninja In Charge said:

That's probably what they meant by the underground part then (haven't read the review and won't read any, I know the game will be great) - similar to Elden Rings underground portion? Technically the underground spanned the entire map but was contained to like 3-4 main zones and could only be accessed by certain surface level entrances. So, I could certainly see that.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

never played. But it looks like you get your hearts stolen (cannot heal) until you do some sort of cleanse. Definitely adds some more intense difficulty to the game.

What's the advantage of buying a copy over just downloading it online? Potential to resell? Legit question, the only games I own are BOTW and Smash Bros.

That's exactly what I just did. Found it at Best Buy and ordered it for pick up when they open tomorrow. I'll cancel the Amazon order when I have it in hand.

Yeah... digital is how i like all my switch games. Just get the largest SD card you can, and put most of your games on that so you always have them ready to go.

Gotta buy online membership to buy and use vouchers too. So add atleast $4-8 if you buy 1 month memberships to spend them or $20 for the year membership. I stuck with my physical copy on Amazon and got it with a 5% cash back. I was tempted though as pikmin 4 would be an easy pickup for the second voucher.

I was looking at my cc statement and saw an $80 charge last month
Realized it was the family play for NSO + lol
I had $70 rewards on my cc which I applied as a credit on Monday right before the game charge came through. Got the game for $5.
