In this pic between the blue ends the regular plug has a wire under it.

The other plug is the round knob to the left of it that just looks like a pvc pipe with an end cap on it.

Ok. I see that....interesting....

I need to go look at mine one more time...i see a square thing....i get nervous about pulling things on it and then it not going back in haha...

I did what the pool guy did last time....the air / relief valve....lots of hissing and lot of water seemed to go out....

Seriously - imply opening the bleed valve on top of the filter tank is probably enough to keep your equipment from getting damaged. Damage occurs when freezing water has nowhere to expand into. Just opening that one valve depressurizes the system.

Now, parts could freeze piecewise and cause localized issues, which is why I popped the lid off the main pump and pulled the pump plugs, filter plug and heater plugs.. But it was probably overkill.
