Took 75/45 from Richardson to South Oak Cliff at 5 this morning with almost no issues. Was concerned about crossing the Trinity but it wasn't a problem either. There were a few slow drivers that I had to dodge, but I drove 60 or so just about the whole way.miller0926 said:

2 oz Tequila, 3/4 oz Triple Sec/Cointreau, 1.5 oz Rose's Sweetened Lime Juice, splash of sweet and sour, over ice.
If you want it smoother add a splash of Amaretto, but it's also much sweeter, may have to cut back on the sweetened lime juice or use real lime juice.
The first thing you should do is remove the sweet and sour. That has no business being in a real margarita. It ruins them.
Remove that, upgrade your tequila, and use fresh lime juice. It will be a much better drink.

Can we now move to "de-winterize" pool steps?
Pretty sure I know the process (reverse of winterizing + priming pumps) but curious if anyone has any best practices or things they have found to work better to get it all going quicker.

Aside from what you mentioned, I'll do a water test, make sure all the chemical levels are in check, and clean my salt cell. It maybe takes me a week to get everything set right again but I won't start that process till mid march

One year ago it was $185 for 50 lbs, and then 30% off of that.
I've uncovered all of our plants and we did not lose anything. Good investment getting the permeable plant coverings. Folded them up and stored away for next year.
We did lose our hibiscus in Rockport which sucks but everything else seems to have survived. For those aren't aware, the gulf coast all the way down to Corpus and south got hit again by freezing weather. Two years in a row.
Not as bad as last year though.

I moved to liquid chlorine this year using the Trouble Free Pool method. I couldn't be happier. Much easier although during the summer you need to check it multiple times per week. I haven't seen the final precip tally from across the area, but when it was happening, it seemed like Plano got on the heavy side and my drive down to A&M yesterday morning to visit our kid seemed to confirm it. Seemed like a really big difference from Addison-north vs the rest of the tollway to downtown on the volume that had piled up and was melting
As the storm hit the metroplex, larger volumes of precipitation got pulled northward because oklahoma sucks.

Are these some sort of threaded unions or joints that should in theory unscrew, replace new tee, and screw back on? Or likely glued and require cutting…?
Typically a threaded pvc pipe would have those end fittings for a pipe wrench.

That's a mix of regular PVC and PVC designed to be a sewer or drain pipe with no pressure. Not sure which direction the water flows through that, bottom to top is OK, left to right not so much.
The bushings do look like they are in as far as they can go, not ideal, but if it's working you could wait for better weather to fix it, it's going to take a while.

Just chop it off, get a few new shutoff valves, tees, joints, etc?
I guess the previous owner paid for the cheapest repairs but held for several years and never had issues...until the great freeze of 2022....
