Uhh…Paul in uh… Plano

Been sleeting in far NW Crowley for a good 2 hours now. Sleet accumulating in the yard and people stopped driving an hour ago. Tree branches have been long frozen.

Live near North Crowley HS.

Trees in the front yard are sagging. Covered my sage and rose bushes but they're probably doomed

We live close. Oldest daughter went to North Crowley

Accumulating rapidly now in Euless.

Mix of freezing rain and sleet.

Just starting to sleet in Flower Mound.

Badness at 3 PM. Stay the f home.

Dogs go out on back porch after their breakfast. Lab mix just dances around like "what the hell is that" - little chiweenie says f it and drops deuce on the patio.

I'm not even mad. That wind is wicked.

Lying in bed and this deep thumping starts up. I can feel it through my bed. It's somewhere above or around our master bedroom. Speeds up and slows down. Can't hear anything when I go outside or go up in attic because of the sleet. It sounds like a heartbeat. It's driving me insane, and I feel like I'm living in an Edgar Allen Poe story.

Only thing I can think it must be is our roof vent that sits over our master bedroom, and it's been knocked off kilter or something so it's hitting something with every rotation?

Dogs went out and were like wth is this, but then actually liked it.

I ain't moving today. Wonder what the TxDot cameras look like.

Forgot one of my outdoor spigots. We're all gonna die.

Not as bad as I had thought based on the Delkus's of the world. In north Dallas, don't think we got nearly as much ice as predicted, wondering if the airlines are second guessing cancelling flights.

My neighborhood is having issues with people getting out. We have a really steep entrance.

Light sleet here in Plano. Trees have a lot of ice on them...some sagging....heading out in a about 30 min for a little walk-around...

In DFW: My daughter and son-in-law got caught in 2 last minute cancellations, coming back from Hawaii. They're in PHX now with the flight literally cancelled an hour ago, when 15 minutes before it had been a 'go'. And all others for the day cancelled. I'm in the aviation business and understand the challenges airlines face but the lack of foresight is beyond frustrating. I recommended they just stay in Hawaii until tomorrow to avoid the uncertainty of airlines and wx forecasts but they wanted to get home to see their kids. Oh well.

The lady on channel 8 just now was in a parking lot and said she was distracted by people "thinking it was a good idea to do donuts." Then she shows us an icy branch of a small tree that had fallen. I wanted to see the car doing donuts…

Is school canceled or online? I thought after doing a online for so long schools might switch over to canceling in person and doing online for winter weather.

Yeah, partially iced over wind turbine is a good guess. I've had that happen.

Still no snow here in Denton. Just a bunch of freezing and sleet

Here in Bowie……Good 1.5 inches of ice overnight. Been a heavy, blowing snow for the last 1.5 hours. Lights have flickered a bit.

We're getting snow in north Fort Worth, still a little sleet coming down at times at well I think.

Yeah I've been on the sleet snow line all morning so far so it's been mixed
