The biggest thing is to remove any hoses or connections from the faucet.

That probably makes sense.

The covers do help me remember to do that vs maybe having wife water flowers and me not realizing etc....

Just got home from a trip from Lakewood to Allen to Addison and back home. Saw several wrecks and 18 wheelers stuck on several highways. Glad to be back home and not leaving again til maybe Friday.

3 wrecks in a 20 minute window at Greenville and SMU blvd. Matilda bridge iced over. One SUV flipped over the median. Be careful on elevated roads.

Just got kids early from school so would not have to worry about someone being stupid and sliding into me....honestly the roads within Plano did not seem too bad but just glad to have kids home and now we can hunker in and not worry about getting back out....

Kids school closed early.

Ran a few errands. Wrecks on all the bridges in lake highlands. Walnut hill, Skillman, Greenville all had wrecks.

I have been around Park / Parkwood / etc.

Wife drove up to church earlier no issues.

It could be getting worse but I did not see anything concerning driving around (including what seemed like relatively reasonable driving by most except for one truck that barreled through)

Trying to get home (Lake Highlands) after picking up the kids at Park/75. Walnut Hill is a mess at Skillman. Royal is a mess at 76. Forrest is heavy, but passable.

I just came up 75 from downtown, cut over to Greenville from walnut hill and everything was completely fine except the Greenville bridge by Royal Oaks. Doesn't look like they pre-treated the bridge at all.

Two right lanes are closed going north, but it's been sanded since and traffic is moving.

That was weird. Either everyone left at noon or 2 o'clock. Northwest highway is almost deserted.

Commute from McKinney to UTSW via 121 and DNT was fairly smooth at 4:30p. Wrecks on back roads off Hampton/ft worth outside of Kessler Park. Saw lots of emergency crew heading places.

Tomorrow will be hell
