Yeah, I was shocked.
Bomb pops look like Central American style to me. Not bad, just doesn't look right. Maybe if they had paired it with non-red shorts...I really think its just that the red and blue are the wrong shade for the US colorsPahdz said:
Honestly if I'm picking two jerseys home and away for the rest of time, I'm picking the Centennial for home and bomb pops for away.
I never got too much into the hoops, and I think the bomb pops are more unique, and to me will always be (whether stupid or not) be a symbol of getting over that damn Ghana curse lol
I'm hopeful, I guess US Soccer could just randomly be doing this twitter pollMr. White said:
Round two begins at 11, I think.
I'm holding on to a sliver of hope that Nike is paying attention to what the fans like.
I didnt realize there was voting on other platforms, what were they.texaggierm said:
It beat the bomb -pop. The Centennial kit lost too.
Looks like every kit except for the Waldos won on twitter but lost the overall vote among all platforms.
I think that's what happened. Friday or Thursday, I voted in the semifinal matchups and the voting for twitter and on USMNT instagram was similar, but voting on the USWNT instagram was totally opposite. To me it looked like if a woman wore the kit, then that won the USWNT instagram and generally won the matchup.Pahdz said:
Counterpoint to your first paragraph...
I'd venture to say that right now the WNT has more engaged fans than the men do. It's very plausible that this wasn't rigged but driven by young females (who let's face it, are super into social media) stuffing the ballots

Sounds about right to me.
I thought the Josh Lambo interview from the BSI Podcast (Benny Feilhaber, Sal Zizzo, Ike Opara) was worth a listen for us soccer + football fanstexaggierm said:
