Maybe. I know this won't be popular, but I don't think he's "there" yet either. Hope I'm wrong.
Hard to know where a striker is when they play for a team like Werder Bremen.
Yeah that's a fair take for sure.
But then it becomes a chicken-egg thing. If he's not getting the best development and/or playing opportunities at the club level, he's not going to reach his full potential for USMNT.
He's still very young. I would imagine either Bremen will increase in quality in the next year, or he will look to move on. It would really help his value, and maybe even development, to get playing time with the national team and show his quality.
