Honestly wouldn't expect much with the club seasons back in full swing. With the numerous positive cases popping up in England, I could see most clubs not releasing their players with the way it is right now.

Barcelona moved Semedo so there's definitely minutes for Dest for the season. De La Fuenta signed an extension over the summer and may get some minutes this season due to fixture congestion. He's already played with the 1st team during pre-season. It's not inconceivable to see the two of them on the field in the near future (within next 3 years)

What is mind boggling is what this season may shape up for USMNT:
* Start at Man City (2 cup games) - Steffen
* Start at Juve - McKinnie
* Start at Dortmund - Reyna
* Start at Leipzig - Adams
* Minutes at Bayern - Richards

Probable
* Start at Chelsea - When Pulisic is fit

Possible
* Minutes/Start at Barca - Dest

I heard it was a done deal to Bayern Munchen too.

He actually has played pretty well for the national team. Part of it is, other MLS players you might consider would have had to miss playoff games

He's definitely one of the MLS guys that should be part of the MNT. He had a very promising start to his MNT career and was derailed for almost two years due to injury suffered in the game where he scored his first international goal.

Yeah not to pile in mrmill here but Lleget has been one of the better MLS players on the MNT.

I was going to say the same thing. In the limited minutes I've seen him w the USMNT, he seems functionally useful. He hasn't struck me as a Roldan/Trapp guy that's out of their league w the USMNT.

He's also flexible, can play at both fullback and in midfield. Never hurts to have a guy like that on your roster.

I always remember Lletget as being the only player to stand out among the MLS based MNT team players.

May have been West Ham but definitely was on the roster for EPL team for a couple of seasons.

Gosh Roldan and Trapp are incredibly hard to watch.

Getting a bit hostile. We just have different ideas about things. No reason to say I deserve to be piled on. We'll see how he plays in the upcoming friendlies. I've just never rated him.
