Definitely skillful in running through a defense... which is the biggest thing Sargent struggles with imo.
Not every run, but I've seen Sargent make really good empty runs.jeffk said:
Do you think that he has other bigger deficiencies or that he's fine at making attacking runs?
It's something to still improve on, but when you actually watch Bremen games (which is a rough experience) he mostly has very good off the ball movement.jeffk said:

Quite the stir on tweeter when he was pulled in the 18th minute.Legal Custodian said:
Nevermind, just saw that he tweaked a muscle last match.

I also disagreed that Hoppe is better at it, given we basically just have 3 clips to watch of him. His team also showed more willingness to feed him in one game than Bremen's midfielders have showed since Josh was signed there.
Either way, we need more and more players to keep stepping up and improving at every position. We want to get to a point where no player has a spot locked up.
I wouldn't go to a championship team if I was Morris.Look guys... said:
It actually may be the perfect scenario for him. He can get experience in England and help them earn a promotion. Next season he'll be in the premier league.
Reminds me of when Quentin Barnes signed with Ionath when they were 2nd division. 3 years later they won it all.

Having ready more of the discussion around it, this seems like as good a match as any. I'd prefer a mid to low EPL team, just for the level of play, but Swansea seems to have shown exactly how they plan to use him and he likes what he saw. I also read that their coach talked with Berhalter, which is a nice show interest.Look guys... said:PatAg said:I wouldn't go to a championship team if I was Morris.Look guys... said:

They're in 2nd now and he can add scoring to them. It's a great way to break in and then get in the EPL.

Hoppe scores again. 5 goals in 3 games for Schalke

Morris left camp today for an unspecified reason. Speculation is that he's on his way to join a club in Europe.
You'd think that would be Ernie Stewart managing all that stuff.fig96 said:
I'm starting to feel like Berhalter's strengths might play more to recruiting/player management than gameday coaching and strategy.
It should be mentioned that most successful gameday coaches often are those that best plan ahead both player management and strategyfig96 said:

100%, but my point is more than Berhalter seems to be much better at one than the other.tysker said:It should be mentioned that most successful gameday coaches often are those that best plan ahead both player management and strategyfig96 said:

I really expected that too, especially given his European experience, but he's been pretty MIA outside of the coaching hire. I'd assume there's more behind the scenes stuff going on than we realize though.Look guys... said:You'd think that would be Ernie Stewart managing all that stuff.fig96 said:
