I know I'm biased, but it's really frustrating to see how Mo and Mane get labeled "divers" for going down with contact, but English players like Vardy, Kane, and Sterling are "clever" for doing the same or often worse.

Kane freaking sizes dudes up and backs under them to create contact and gets calls. He's going to cripple someone and get applauded for it.

Salah doesn't actually draw a ton of penalties compared to other top men in the league over the last few seasons, so it's interesting to see how his instances of "flopping" get treated.

Mo dives, but ALL strikers dive at some point. The difference is that great players consistently get calls (even with VAR) and the "floppers" don't. Mo is extremely smart about how and when he dives. He never anticipates contact, but always embellishes the interaction. He uses his brain to punish sloppy defenders. It's winning football. Smart players win championships, losers complain. You don't like it?...tough titties.
