It did start at 2.ChipFTAC01 said:
Clicked on this thread by accident and immediately realized I was going to get spoiled. But no scores yet, so no spoils! Is my timing off because of daylight savings time? I thought the game was at 2

As it should.
Its a crap idea.
If I wanted to watch teams not give a crap because there's no relegation I'd turn on MLS.
Without the 4 premiere league teams this is dead in the water. The German clubs will struggle to get approval due to ownership structure.FriedTex said:
Also, I guess it's better to be in it than not. I get the purity of relegation but if you see 10 of your European rivals moving towards this - how do you not jump in the train given the money involved?

IMO you need the English clubs to make it work.
It's clear the American ownership groups like the guaranteed payouts that come with automatic qualification (I get it), but I think it is mostly a bluff to get more champions league concessions.FriedTex said:powerbelly said:Without the 4 premiere league teams this is dead in the water. Sure. So if your Arsenal, how are you feeling about this news? And if you were being considered slightly ahead of Tottenham - would you resist on principle or would jump on the train and say "Peace out *****es"

Dropped points from a cheap equalizer, pretty much the summary of the entire season.
