Milner hurt again. That stings.

Klopp's presser this morning was basically just listing off all the players we have injured. Apparently we won't see Thiago back before the new year.
Happy Holidays...

Had he been injured often before?
We've had a run of long-term and nagging injuries the past year. Naby is constantly out, Shaq has something that's been bugging him off and on, VVD and Thiago are both gone (thanks Everton!), then there's been multiple weeks-long injuries to Milner, TAA, Hendo, Alisson et al. Our attacking players have been remarkably healthy (knock on wood), but our midfield and backline have been the walking wounded all summer/fall.

Yeah, but not for Tuesday's CL match. Sooooo... hold onto your butts.
What's interesting is that the CB replacements (Fab, Williams and Phillips) have played well so far. I'm hopeful that the team will start to find some rhythm now that the international breaks are over for a while and we'll see more consistency.OregonAggie said:jeffk said:

Thiago has missed a number of games in his career. I wouldn't say he's one of those guys that's always injured but he is prone to them.
Naby just hasn't been able to get his career of the ground with us and it's sad as I think he'd be a great contributor for us. Shaq...yikes. Dude has had a rough go the last couple years for sure.
I still can't believe they didn't bring in a replacement for Lovren. As soon as he left I kept thinking it would bite us in the ass if we don't replace him and it damn well is.

Good news is that we end with Midtyyland so that SHOULD be 3 pts and that's all we need to move on.

Yep!
Has he been kicking ass in training and thats why he got the start, or is Adrian injured too?

"He's just improving and improving and improving and he's a football-playing goalie, good shot-stopper, which is obviously the most important thing. My job is to make decisions and I did that."
