He's interesting, but yeah... I don't get too emotionally invested in any transfer until I see the team account tweet out a pic of them with our jersey on.

I don't follow either transfer rumors or Aggie football recruiting, because they're both like that.

TV breakdown between all the different levels of NBC isn't released yet, but of interest, Peacock Premium ($5/month) will have on-demand replays of every PL game apparently. No indication if there's like a 24 hour delay after it runs on a non-Peacock channel or anything.

I'm curious to see if Gini stays this year. He hasn't signed a new contract and there's plenty of rumors around him going to Barca to join Koeman, which I wouldn't blame him. Shaqiri, Origi, and Wilson are all rumored to be transfer targets and could definitely move.

If so, we certainly could see Alcantra move over. Should be an interesting couple weeks

I'm probably in the minority, but I love Gini. He isn't flashy, doesn't produce many goals or assists and rarely makes a pass longer than 15 yards, but he is so damn dependable. My nickname for him is the Butler. He basically keeps us moving and always minds his responsibilities. He is also a fantastic athlete, never stops running and always competes well in the air.

I think signing Thiago would be great addition, but swapping him straight for Gini doesn't necessarily make us better. Thiago would be great cover for Hendo and a very intriguing attacking replacement for Fabinho, but he can't replace what Gini brings us.

Shaqiri I'd be ok with him moving on. Feel like he never sees the field. I'd hate to lose Origi but I bet there's a transfer in there that makes a lot of financial sense.

I became a big fan of Gini during the 2018/2019 season. His work rate is amazing and he's extremely dependable. I do think Thiago would be an upgrade talent wise but we would have to see how he fits into the team. Other than VVD and Alisson, most I coming players take time to get stuck in and figure out the system completely...and not every player will fit.

I'll always be on team Gini but I wouldn't get too upset if we replaced him with Thiago.

I'm a big Shaqiri fan and would like to see him stay if he gets on the field but there isn't a place for him with our 4-3-3 system. Only when we play 4-2-3-1 does he fit...and Klopp barely used it last year. Origi should make way for youth and I think Wilson is an EPL player but he's not going to get into this squad.

I hope Brewster busts through this year. He could help open the door for an Origi sale....which might be the best way to raise money for Thiago.

Had a minor back issue which kept him out of camp. He was close to returning, but I guess they didn't see any value to rushing him back.

It looks like Koumetio might have jumped both Phillips and van den Berg in the pecking order... interesting development. Everyone has been fawning over the kid for the past 2 weeks. I wonder if they think he is good enough to stay with the big boy squad this year.

Miramino with the equalizer. It's been all Liverpool attack most of the second half. Hope we get a winner here soon, but losing the Community Shield worked out fine for us last time, so I won't fret either way.

These new Nike red kits are growing on me too. I like the teal accents.

Went to kicks, Brewster put his onto the crossbar - looked a little jazzed up. He'd come on just at the end of the half. Glad to see we responded well after going down early. Midfield still a bit out of sorts and we missed having TAA.

Been trying to figure out my TV plan for this season. Peacock looks to be carrying a couple games a match day (the ones not on NBCSN) and also will have on demand replays of every game. Do you think it'll be announced which games are on which channels for the whole season or is that something they'll play by ear and adjust week to week?

We need to keep Gini. I know every one wants more offense, but Gini and Hendo rave that Liverpool engine. I don't want us to turn into a ManCity

Peacock is the replacement for NBC Sports Gold. I got it for $29.99, which is a lot cheaper than the $50 for Gold. You get all games and the other NBC shows/movies as well. Worth it in my opinion. The games will be announced a week, maybe two weeks in advance but that's it. Similar to college football.

Yeah, I did a month trial earlier this summer. Just wish I knew where games would be more in advance. Thanks!
