Yikes. Reminds me a lot of our CL final loss. Good game until keeper blunders took all the wind out of sails.

Anywho... top four was our realistic battle before today and it still has to be our goal. Survive this season without missing out on CL play next year is the best we can hope for.

I don't see us winning CL but I want to see how far we go. I think we're in a bit of a funk but we'll get out of it. Hendo and Fabinho being available for the midfield is going to help a lot

I think that part of you is probably gonna have to wait till the Quarterfinals.

Leipzig have struggled to create chances all year, and no one has stepped up to the plate to replace Timo Werner. The defense is pretty good - statistically the best in the Bundesliga, but when the struggle to score carries into the 2nd half, they seem to get frustrated and forget how to play defense completely (see the first ManU game and more recent Dortmund game).

Beware the hyperbolic media narrative! Already seen a couple of commentators saying Klopp is having trouble keeping the team together and is unhappy with ownership. I'm sure he's frustrated with losing, but we've been hamstrung by injuries, not poor ownership or coaching decisions.

This season is the polar opposite of 18-19. Finding ways to lose miserably instead of getting the miraculous goal.

Henderson is making a strong case for having a statue of him erected in Liverpool. Great leader.

It also shows what really bad goalkeeping decisions lead to. Alisson needs to get out of his own head.
