La Luz on Blanco Road has the best barbacoa in San Antonio. Even my gringa wife loves it and she's extremely hard to please when it comes to barbacoa.

Only serve of Saturday and Sunday though.

New to SA and still finding places, but I found a little joint today just of I-10 on west Ave called Taquitos West Ave.

Their street tacos are pretty solid. I'm sure you SA lifers have known about it for a while.

Haven't had it in years but Taco House was always good. It's just north of the San Pedro driving range.
