Surely they could find a more useful idiot at this point but Abrego has name recognition now so it's more of a challenge to replace him at martyr.
The proposed briefing schedule in Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s habeas corpus case extends well past next week’s evidentiary hearing on his vindictive prosecution motion.

Feds originally planned to send him to Liberia as soon as Friday. This suggests the calendar changed. pic.twitter.com/I46nd682mq

Why are the dems still trying to squeeze juice out of this, and why is he not gone yet? The criminal has had more than enough "due process".

Someone alluded to it above, but I fully believe they intend to bring him to the SOTU address as a badge of their welcoming to immigrants.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia's lawyers inform a federal judge about the Washington Post's bombshell: The government's claim that Costa Rica will no longer accept Abrego has been exposed as a lie.

More evidence—"if any were needed"—of vindictive prosecution.

A federal judge has ordered the immediate release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from immigration detention.
U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis said in her order Thursday that "since Abrego Garcia's wrongful detention in El Salvador, he has been re-detained, again without lawful authority."
Xinis said that the absence of a removal order prevents the government from removing Abrego Garcia from the United States.

Star witness has been arrested and imprisoned every year for the past 10 years and was set to be deported for his sixth time. He gets released and can stay in the country for at least a year. Sweet deal for him. Not sure how credible the jury will find him though.

He has HAD a removal order for years...
Apparently the district judge is too stupid to know that...
After a sealed ex parte (govt only) hearing in Abrego's criminal case yesterday, Judge Crenshaw has ordered, over govt objection, that redacted copies of 6 documents relevant to Abrego's motion to dismiss for vindictive prosecution be turned over to Abrego's team. He has not had a removal order. The order from 2018 did not order him removed, it said that the US could not remove him to El Salvador.
A removal order has to state where he is being removed to, so where does his removal order at he is to be removed?

No...he HAD a removal order. He had a WITHHOLDING order that wouldn't allow that removal to El Salvador.
I'm going to read Judge Xinis ruling today and then decide whether to write a story. Haven't even looked at the first page yet, but I have one curious observation to the reporting that her decision is based on the Govt failing to produce an actual Order of Removal ---
