This. Knowing Minn's QB situation, I picked up the Lions defense this week for week 2 of my fantasy championship. My fantasy strategy is always to find the worst offenses and pick up the defense playing them. But I ultimately decided to stick with my existing Steelers D vs Cle because I just don't trust the Lions. There don't seem to be offenses bad enough that can't move the ball on the Cowboys and the Lions
It appears the Vikings entire strategy on defense now is just to blitz, and it's working.

We see this every year in the NFL in the last several weeks, teams with nothing to lose and good front 7 personnel just say **** it and double their blitz rate and jut wreak havoc on unsuspecting offenses.
If you aren't prepared for it it can absolutely decimate teams in any given week. Now the first team with a good QB who recognizes and is prepared for it coming into the game is gonna throw for 400 yards but you'll also make a couple teams look inept. And it's why playoff teams commonly get tripped up by these late season games against bad teams with decent defenses especially on the road.
The Browns have done this routinely in recent years

It may not be a massive sample size, but in the past 20 years the Cowboys have had 3 teams that were in the top 4 Super Bowl favorites heading into the playoffs. Stacked rosters with tons of talent and the stats and wins to back it up.
I'm not a Jerry apologist, I curse his decisions regularly... but I'm also not going to sit back and pretend he hasn't put together a few kick ass teams either. The Parson's trade this year was a big move for him... we knew it wasn't going to do anything for us this year, but we now have another 2-3 years to possibly make a run.

Multiple NFC East titles and multiple years of 17+ weeks of really good football that I enjoyed. Some of y'all act like we've had nothing to cheer for since '95.

C'mon really? You enjoy cheering year after year for a team that has a GM that can get you good results sometimes and yet no results in the playoffs? 30+ years?
Just makes it worse. Sublime to the ridiculous. And it won't get much better next year with Jerry running the show.
If Clemson QB Cade Klubnik (Westlake grad) was available in the mid-to-late rounds (4-7), would you take a flyer on him? I think I would.
They don't have many picks this year so I doubt they even look at QB this draft.

He still doesn't read defenses particularly well, and given he's basically a 4 year starter, that's not a good sign. I might spend a 6th on him, but nothing higher. Too many other needs. You're also going to burn all of his cheap years waiting in Dak.

Yeah, kinda sucks because GB had the type of season I expected them to... A 9 win team doesn't clinch a playoff spot with 1 game left in almost any other season.
Should have had two top 20 picks. Oh well.

It's also amazing the eagles continue to find ways to win, despite having a completely non-functional NFL QB. Hopefully the bills find a way to pull this out.
Eagles beat the Bills on the road with zero pass completions in the 2nd half. WTF.
Blocked extra point, and then had a wide open shakir for the 2 point attempt to win it. Hurts goes 0-8, eagles had 17 yards in the second half. There's no team in the NFL luckier than the eagles, it's infuriating.
It's more that they've built such a dominant roster around Hurts that they can consistently win in spite of not throwing the ball well. They have legitimate pro bowl caliber players at nearly every position on both sides of the ball. And their weakest outside of QB is manned by a guy who made a pro bowl earlier in his career.
If you put any of the top 10 QBs in the league on that roster they might go undefeated. Dak could sleep walk to a title with that roster.

I know this is a joke, but id look to the Free Agent pool to solve any RB problems.
Allgier, Etienne and Breece Hall being the guys that could be solid upgrades. Dowdle is unlikely but also a nice option. The real fantasy is a trade for Achane. The cowboys would literally have the best offensive weapons (assuming they franchise tag Pickens).
Treyvon Diggs is the absolute worst thing about sports. He gets his money and quits on the team. Good riddance.
