Took an uber from Frankford/Hillcrest to Love Field. Definitely some slipping and sliding, and one red light he just had to go through bc he couldn't stop. Wasn't terrible but wasn't driving on snow either. Tomorrow morning will be interesting when anything that's mush is frozen back over. Just go slowly and you should be fine. Doubt there are many, if anyone, on the road in the morning.

You can make it anywhere nearby if you are only doing 10-15. But I'd be surprised if that clinic is open.
Roads are fine.
My firm downtown closed offices and told everybody to work from home tomorrow. They also reiterated that no staff would be in the building to try to deter anyone from going in.
I think the roads are going to be really bad tomorrow morning. It's getting more packed now and a deep freeze tonight will make things very treacherous tomorrow.
Been out twice today. Love field to home via DNT to walnut hill, then again hillcrest from WH to Campbell and back.
Hillcrest was great. No one on the road, tracks made in the middle lane, 25-30mph the whole way.
DNT was sloshy, but moving. Will be doing 75 to downtown tomorrow morning. I also drive a 4wd full sized suv, but saw all sorts of vehicles out there, and only one was stalled, a fwd sedan at a red light with a slight incline.

Saw this one… unfortunately (in hindsight) did it nearly every time we could. Never thought of an accident when I was that age, just having fun. Heartbroken over the accident and the navet of teenage kids
I'm driving from Cleburne to ft worth and Williw park tomorrow to check our PO Box and drop box. No matter the locale, I don't like having checks or money orders somewhere that's not completely secure. Guessing there's a nice rut on the CTP and 20/30 that I'll be fine going 60% speed the whole way.

If you drive, make sure your tires are aired up properly - you want the tire to sink into the surface, not float on top of it. And put weight in your vehicle. Fueling up is an easy way, otherwise put some weight in the trunk. Add more if you have a rear drivetrain. For pickups, a few hundred pounds helps traction and minimizes fish tailing.

I was just pulling my teens earlier. But both of mine had full motorcycle helmets on w visors. I'm guessing those that got killed didn't have helmets on.

Well boys - I've worked at a bank in Dallas for just under 20 years and we have never cancelled a day of work for inclement weather.

On American? They cancelled 56% of their flights today. Only 15% tomorrow. I'd say your chances are pretty good unless the meeting gets cancelled
AA has to get flights moving tomorrow as they likely have all types of aircraft out of position right now

I flew out SW this evening and left on time. My boss is flying American and was supposed to leave before me and he's still in Dallas. I'm checking into my hotel in Vegas. DFW and American apparently pretty brutal
Love field always flies in bad weather. Dfw shuts down. Not sure why, but that's always been the reputation in Dallas
Saturday DFW had 86% of flights cancelled vs 62% at DAL. Today, 66% vs 56% So far tomorrow it's 12% vs 18%.

A 4-day meeting sounds awful. I can barely handle 45 minutes.

I got in from Rockwall to Love yesterday. Wasn't terrible, just don't be a moron and try and go 60 on sleet covered streets.
