I think that says that everyone, myself included, who thought Elneny didn't have a role with this team was wrong. Dude works really hard and seems to fit well inside the locker room.

Partey ought to give everyone he's paired with the confidence to do "more." Elneny was able to be really aggressive today and press up the field, and United didn't know what to do about it.

Partey is also going to draw some attention, which will help the other player. That hopefully will help Ceballos, too, as I don't think he's been nearly as impactful this season as he was last year.
