If so City & Chelsea who are currently top 4 would shift their EPL qualifier down, correct?
Then if ManU (currently 2nd) wins EL they would shift their top 4 qualifier down, correct?
If that is all correct, then the 5th & 6th place spots in the EPL standings would be in CL next season and the 7th place would be in EL.
My understanding is if the EL or CL winner finish in the Top 4, their spot doesn't transfer down the list.
That said, I did forget about the FA Cup.
If the FA Cup winner finishes in the Top 5, their Europa League spot does transfer down. So, with Chelsea and Leicester in the final, it does look like a EL spot will transfer to 6th place.
I think this is the first year the League Cup winner doesn't go to the EL, so 7th wouldn't get in due to Man City winning that competition.
7th could get in if Chelsea won the Champions League and somehow blew their Top 4 spot.

Im fairly certain ManU's spot would push down because I recall that being in discussion last year or the year before when we were trying to figure out if we were gonna get an EL spot.

Soooo.... after Raul fired all of our scouts, we have now hired a headhunting firm to find new ones. Supposedly the 2 intro questions that the firm has been told to ask every prospective scout is to assess Joe Willock and Sander Berge. This is particularly interesting because there have been rumors about Willock possibly being sold and links to us buying Berge. If there is any correlation, I wonder if A) we are indeed looking to finally buy a #6 and B) are we trying to help decide to sell/keep Willock or gathering more info on his value?

Yeah, there are navy shorts that are alternates, and they look 100% better than the yellow shorts. I'm just hopeful that we play a bunch of teams wearing white shorts so that we will wear the navy to avoid the kit clash.

I think the yellow shorts are actually the alternate and the navy one's will be the normal. The women's team wore all yellow yesterday which is why everyone is saying it'll be first choice.
I don't have an issue with the ladies in all yellow but don't think it looks right for the guys.
Leno now claiming that he is happy at Arsenal and wants to get us back to CL. My guess is that his agent made him realize how much a paycut he would have to take in order to leave.

Then you understand a lot of these things have happened for a reason. It's not just an ability, a quality or determination, it's many other factors. I've really enjoyed learning from him. He's been very helpful every time with the team, and I feel sadness as well because you get attached to the players emotionally. First it's the player that we have to get the maximum out of, and then it's the person. When it gets to these stages, it's tough and it hurts because that relationship is now going to be going away at least in this space of not seeing him every day. Again, I have to say thank you to him.

We had very clear talks in the last few months. We already had a big decision to make last year when we had to extend his contract in a very difficult moment during the COVID world, the pay cuts and everything. We managed to extend that for one more season. He's given his best, I tried to help him as much as I possibly could, and the club did as well. After some conversations, we decided it's the best way to do it now.

It's after a few conversations that we had, David and I. We discussed the situation on different occasions and the other day we made the final decision on it.

I was all on board after his quick impact. Now I don't think he is the best fit for our offense when it is running at it's best. With no EL/CL next season, I'd rather give the #10 to ESR and find a cheap backup (vet or youngster) in case of injury.

Also, I looked at Ozils production in Turkey this year and his stats are pretty poor. They don't always tell the whole story but it's interesting.
