I dont see the Spanish, Italian or English leagues following through with that threat. They lose too much money if those teams arent in the league.
Absolute genius move by Arsenal finishing 10th in the table. Obviously a ploy to acclimate the fans to life in the super league.

Technically, we could now afford to overhaul a good chunk of the roster if we are smart about our purchases. Supposedly if this goes through we will be getting approx 300m euro. That's 6 new 50m players without counting sales.

Reports that the Glazers may look to sell ManU in wake of the collapse. May not be far fetched to think that Stan will sell also.

What if the EPL forces all 6 into the Championship for 1 season. Only 3 come up next in normal pro/rel so at least 3 are stuck there for 2 seasons. Imagine the cash infusion and TV contract for the Championship. Not to mention the FA cup suddenly becomes vital as a qualification to EL.

I'd actually be so down for that. Would be hilarious. Imagine the players reaction when they realize they have to get kicked around the pitch by Championship clubs for 46 games
Have a hard time seeing the EPL forcing 6 of the biggest revenue draws into relegation as punishment, especially when it wasn't the management or players that made this decision. I've read some very disturbing rumors that Arteta blocked the permanent sale of Kola to Schalke and plans to keep him as LB cover next season.
Man I hope not, we don't need a bodyguard for Ozil anymore. Maybe just a precaution until we find a suitable affordable replacement since we definitely need investing in more important areas. Once a backup LB is identified, we'll move him on hopefully.
