What's sad is that we have 3 freaking defenders on the bench including 2 CBs. There is nobody that could possibly spark this offense.

Saw it mentioned on another forum... the vet guys (PEA included) are acting like they don't give a sheet. Means they likely don't wanna play for Arteta. Why is that? Freddie said there were locker room issues when he was interim as well. Are some of the vets just poison or is there a bigger issue? How do we deal with this? DO we stick with Arteta and clear out the guys that don't wanna play for him or do we replace Arteta (and Edu) and hope that the players respond to the new guy?

I'm really not sure. I think Arteta can be successful, but I'm afraid the time here has passed. This team has no faith him. If I were him, I'd bench everyone beside Gabriel, Saka, Leno and Tierney. All the other spots go to the younger players. ESR, Willock, Balgun, Saka, Azeez etc. Just release the deadwood. Willian, Xhaka, etc.

Tend to agree. The guys that have been playing in the EL matches have shown much better. Competition is greater in the PL but if we aren't gonna win, you might as well let the young guys learn on the job. If the board thinks that Arteta is the right guy, I'd have a Jan fire sale and get rid of anyone over 25 that doesn't want to stay and then fill in a few of those holes with guys that want to come in and compete.

I'm curious where PEA's head really is. If you were planning to keep a few vets (maybe Leno, Luiz, Partey & PEA) I wouldn't be opposed to the rumored Xhaka for Eriksen swap and run a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 with PEA at ST.
both of those were no doubter yellows. just pure stupidity on the part of Gabriel.
Gabi has had a rough last several games. Making lots of stupid mistakes. I think the overall mentality is significantly impacting his form.
The club needs to implement a 100K fine for any red card from this point on.
