And there is the trifecta. 3 draws against 3 relegation teams.
Just brutal finishing.

I was wondering if the club had found another spectacularly unique way to self immolate.
🚨☕️ Thomas Frank replies on drinking from Arsenal cup tonight: “I definitely did not notice it. It would be completely stupid of me to take it if I knew”.

I truly am shocked at how poorly it's gone for Frank at Spurs. I thought he was a can't lose proposition.

I mean, the Keane-Fergie falling out is pretty well documented, but is Ferguson actually doing much more than going to games and answering an occasional phone call? Kind of doubt it.

"I don't like to make any major decisions without speaking to Sir Alex. I've got a really good relationship with Sir Alex, so I wanted to speak to him first and ultimately to get his blessing, to be perfectly honest with you. I think he deserves that respect."
"I wanted to run it by him, and he echoed my thoughts. When you're an employee of the club, it's your job to do your best for Manchester United. It is something I try and live and believe every day, so it was comforting for me for him to say that," Fletcher said in the pre-match press conference.

multiple pundits made the comment that this sounded very school boyish. getting the headmaster's permission. i'm partially inclined to agree.
I've gone back and forth over the years wondering if Sir Alex's influence over the club is a good thing or bad thing.
