You guys are a little insufferable. It hasn't been a glorious run, but I don't think anyone was predicting a dominant performance against Chelsea. And I doubt he told Casemiro, "Hey, I want you to pull the ball carrier down when we are up by a man and two goals for no reason."

Maybe a better way of saying it is that this doesn't really prove anything, IMO. My first post made it sound like I think Amorim should go now of the back of that result. That's not the case. But I don't think it was a signal of improvement or progress or anything.

Don't expect them to dominate but10v10 against a Palmerless Chelsea and they had 25% possession and managed one shot on goal. I've always said that performances are nearly as important as results. That wasn't a good performance. Sorry if that sounds negative but I believe it to be true.
