This is one I really don't understand. I feel like Norgaard has looked pretty damn good when he's had his opportunities. He can also play both sides of the field. I don't understand the lack of rotating him in.

He's just one example of this though. As Wangus said, the stubborn refusal to rotate is confusing as all get out. We have more depth than ever. It is also going to backfire on our ability to recruit equal depth going forward if they don't believe they'll get time if they aren't in the starting squad.

Rotate. Keep the squad fresh.

I also think it's time to start Marti over Trossard. He will get pissed and then rattle off 3 or four goals after being subbed on. Lately he's been a big bag of nothing.

Maybe so. I thought Trossard looked so good during the first 50-75% of a move and then, just nothing would happen. He seemed to like having Hincapie out there to combine with and work with instead of playing on an island, but yeah, it just kept fizzling out with nothing.

because we had the only midweek when we played wolves in order to fit that game in. I have no clue why city did not play Place that same day.

Am I dumb because I couldn't care less about the complaining of other fans or the media about us scoring off of set pieces? Honestly, I couldn't give two ****s about them disliking it.

There are plenty of other reasons some could consider me dumb but I don't think this is one.

I don't think anyone should care about what the fans of other teams of teams or the media say. There is plenty of historic video showing the hypocrisy, and anyone acting like Arsenal invented being physical on set pieces and getting away with stuff that could be fouls is ridiculous.

That said, I do agree with the belief the sport is becoming less enjoyable to watch. But that's not because of what's happening on set pieces, that's because of what's happening in open play.

If this website is correct, https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask/premier-league-team-with-most-created-corners, we are not creating some crazy amount of corners. We are creating about as many as most other clubs that generally dominate possession. We are just really good at scoring off of them.

Is anyone out there taking corners without the intent of scoring from them? No, of course not.

Do I wish we scored more from open play? Yes, of course, if we did we would be absolutely dominating this league and running away with the title. But those would be goals in addition to the goals we're scoring off of corners.

You can see from the same page that we are taking and putting on target just about as many shots as anyone else, too.

It is not like we are just trying to create set pieces and hope we keep scoring from them. We are trying to score from open play. Turns out that leads to corners when you have skilled one-on-one wingers and otherwise dominate possession. And it turns out we are good at corners.

Why was Trossard "very poor"?
I don't mind his performance. He had a difficult matchup vs James and this was never going to be a vintage Trossard match. I thought he played pretty well up to the time he was subbed.

Let's keep in mind Chelsea are not void of talented players. The club may be chaos but there are some very talented players on the roster.

It looks better in a vacuum, but not in the context of a title race. I will say that our draw away to Wolves is a better result than citys draw at home to spurs.

Just keep winning. Tough match tomorrow.
