What a massive day for us
🚨 Bernardo Silva on penalty on Haaland: “All 50/50s have gone against us this season. It's the reality”.

“For me it was a penalty. Some might have a different opinion. What can Erling do? As I said, we're used to it. We know how it works”, told TNT Sports. pic.twitter.com/KxM43zrOb9

From Dec. 25 onward, Arsenal are the Premier League's best team, surging Man United sit second and Brentford are ... fourth?! 😮
At the other end of the table, Spurs have as many wins (1) as their rivals have losses 😬 pic.twitter.com/wiG064koIh
🚨 Fabian Hürzeler: “There was only one team who tried to play football today”.
— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) March 4, 2026
“I will never be that kind of manager who tries to win in that way”. pic.twitter.com/gjrgd3Ic8b

"I ask one question. Did you see one time in a Premier League game a goalkeeper go down three times? No? We shouldn't waste too many words on that," he added. "We should focus on us, our performance, we can't control these kind of things."
Hurzeler continued in his post-match press conference: "In the end it's about the rules. If the Premier League, the referee, allows everything then it's difficult. They (Arsenal) make their own rules, no matter how they are playing. I will never be that kind of manager who tries to win in that way. I want to develop players, players that keep improving and play football on the pitch.
"In the end every team will manage and waste time, but there has to be a limit and the limit has to be set by the Premier League, by the referees. At the moment they just can do what they want.
"If I ask everyone now here in the room 'did you really enjoy this football game?', I am sure maybe one raises his arm because he's a big Arsenal fan. Beside that, no chance."
Arsenal were 1-0 winners on Wednesday thanks to Bukayo Saka's ninth-minute goal. Arteta's side stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League after Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest.
Asked about Hurzeler's comments, Arteta said: "Go back to the previous games and you will find a lot of comments like this. Always. I love my players. That's the highlight. We love our players and I love the way we compete."
Oddly mixed feelings after that. We won the game, and advanced in the title race ... but we didn't do it in a way that pleased Fabian Hürzeler. I keep asking myself if it was worth it.

Taking all delays into account, Arsenal spent an average of 31.4 seconds to get the ball back into play from corners, goal kicks, throws and free-kicks last night vs Brighton.

There have been 195 instances of a team taking longer than this in a Premier League match in 2025-26.
I laughed when I saw this.

They don't even allow him to use his physicality AT ALL. But defenders can maul him to the ground? https://t.co/lBe3daah2l

Haaland Penalty Shout vs Brighton
I dislike Bernardo Silva as much as anyone. Especially when he rolled Salah a few seasons ago (Exhibit A). He talks a lot of sh*t on and off the pitch. He's in my top 3 of current PL players who I despise (alongside Jordan Pickford and Bruno Fernandes). The amount of whining they do is unbearable. But this is a penalty. Same action that awarded City a penalty vs Liverpool a few weeks back.

I’m often very critical of referees, but this was excellent officiating. The goalkeeper clearly pulls out of the challenge, and Haaland then deliberately changes direction to create the contact. 👏🏻pic.twitter.com/aTI7PLsAmQ
