Our time wasting was about midtable out of the 300 matches played in the league so far.
Hurzeler is clearly trying to deflect from his own shortfalls. Brighton have won 3 of their last 18 league matches. Arsenal have won as many in the last 10 days. They also undefeated in the CL, FA Cup and EFL Cup. Don't sit there and insult the manager who's team has arguably performed as one of the best in the world so far. We looked very poor and leggy last night and still found a way. We've also played 11 matches more than Brighton this year.

I dislike Bernardo Silva as much as anyone. Especially when he rolled Salah a few seasons ago (Exhibit A). He talks a lot of sh*t on and off the pitch. He's in my top 3 of current PL players who I despise (alongside Jordan Pickford and Bruno Fernandes). The amount of whining they do is unbearable. But this is a penalty. Same action that awarded City a penalty vs Liverpool a few weeks back.
Martinelli rugby tackling a Brighton player in the box may have also been a penalty. Can't seem to find a short video clip of the incident.
But then there's this:
Gyokeres being a brick wall
No way this is a foul on Gyokeres. He stands his ground and the Brighton player just happens to run into a brick wall.

We have had some lucky calls and unlucky calls this season like every other team.
City in general seems to get more lucky calls (at least two Red cards not given in the last few games for example). Sure that could have been a penalty but its borderline given there was not a lot of contact (The back angle makes it clear Halland was trying to get a call) and Halland was unlikely to even reach the ball inbounds.
The Martinelli tackle probably should have been a penalty. I think he escaped because both players were grabbing and tugging from well outside the box.
It is infuriating what does and does not get called in the PL.

Probably, although I absolutely hate it when a player just about kicks the ball out of play and then leans into the keeper to make sure there is contact.
But my point about them feeling the pressure is Silva going down the "all 50/50s go against us" whine, not so much this particular call.
