It's like they're making it easier for institutional buyers and harder for consumer buyers like us. Stupid rule changes

EGOC has me worried with all the issues surrounding Chinese company stocks right now.

OR

It is paving the way for a new and exciting opportunity with a new Chinese company. Hopefully one that has been blessed by the Chinese government and will be welcomed with open arms and lots of interest from the US.

Yeah it's tough sledding on the OTC. Sort of losing hope for a good year ending.

Yep, we're all screwed on these plays. At least the big boards are still hanging tough.

Positives are my outlook and mentality with this penny....until the time to not be.

I'm honestly considering dropping EGOC at this point. Chinese owned companies are dropping like flies and I am not sure they have what it takes to get to NASDAQ. Not yet, but I will let you know when I am making the decision.

Please do keep us informed of your stance.

Why are Chinese companies dropping like flies? Are any holding ground?

Edited to add: are you waiting for the ticker change and financials or is your decision based 9n the aforementioned drop of Chinese companies?

I just did at a good loss. Hopefully that helps my taxes a bit.

On the drop of Chinese companies. If the SEC is going to hold them accountable o just don't think they have it in them to meet the standards.

Is there a reason you aren't going to wait until their symbol change and the next financials release to drop? Assuming that is all going to happen in December...

Ok, thanks.

Is it possible that they want to avoid issues with US regulators and are taking a different approach than have previous Chinese companies? Or, is it just not within the realm of likelihood being a Chinese company.

I had hoped they wanted to emerge as a new type of Chinese company. One that tooka different route (RM) and was looking to solidify their position in US markets. That is what the CEO and PR made me believe.

Well for one, I am not sure when the ticker change is happening. I know we all expect Dec.

Two, the news coming out about foreign stocks and the required standards always means China. Their seems to be pressure being applied to those foreign owned companies.

If ticker change comes soon, then maybe I will hold on. If pressure keeps building then I may not consider waiting on ticker change.

I have a small green balance right now so I am just weighing the options.

Shockingly, EGOC is one of my better performing stocks this month

Makes sense. I'm expecting a ticker change around December 17-20 from when they filed, but since you still have a green balance I completely understand!

My position is so small both dollar-wise and % of my portfolio that it going to zero wouldn't be all that much of a hit, so I'm just gonna hold and hope for the best.

Worst case is it'll be a good tax loss for 2022.

My sentiments exactly. I did put a decent chunk of money into it and do nott want to lose it, BUT should it go to zero it will hurt my feelings and dreams more than my financial situation.

Oh wow, that close. I'm guessing some Schwab traders wanted to get in on EGOC before the OTC fees start.

Well looking back at this first year of trading and I'd have been better off not trading at all. I went for gambles and they all pretty much lost. A HUMBL-ing feeling, but my fault for letting greed dictate behavior. Maybe things will turn around, but all I've learned is I was a lot happier having never gone down this path. Feels like a wasted year and the time dedicated to it and money lost to not only myself but to others...well. To those that lost money on my blabbering, I really am sorry and I hope you forgive me. I'm done here. Will let most of these plays ride and wait and see but have resigned myself to the fact that, a. I have no clue what I am doing here and b. I'll likely work until the day I die. Such is life. Please forgive me all who may have lost money on anything I said.

I hear ya brother. I thought every play was going to be a 10 bagger and I'd be wrapping up work by December. Get my application to Augusta National approved in time for the '22 tournament. Now my application is on hold and I can't get them to return my emails. Aggravating for sure.

Not sure of your financial situation, but my original investment was about 2.5% of my total NW, which is now down to 1% of my NW. The big boards have had a great year, so these clusters just tick me off.

Maybe stuff will turn around in '22 or '23.

I'm hoping that your money in pennies wasn't too significant. But if it was, just focus more on safe investments like index funds, QQQ, and maybe some blue chips. I'm sure you will recover quicker than you expect.

I know for me, my big gamble this year was on ROKU, and at one point it was nearly 10% of my portfolio. It tanked and wiped out pretty much all gains from my other stocks for the year, so I sympathize.

I believe it was Jan when it came up on the big board. Made my first EGOC buy Jan 21 at around $.0032 after waiting a week for fund to settle, missed the $.0018 price because of it.

From the main board, I've done okay in my IRA (still not as great as it should have been), but it was an absolute disaster in my $25k account I decided to open up in February. It popped real quick, but have lost 50% of the value over the year. Going to harvest some losses and start over in January. Pretty big kick to the nuts.
Tibbers

Same. Nearly the same. My account I can't touch till I'm nearly dead is doing great but my hopeful early retirement account has done nooooothing. I should have sold in February and been happy with the slight returns.
